Role Summary

Farber is looking for anAssociate Enterprise BI Developertosupport the design development and maintenance of Farbers management reports and dashboards foritsvarious business units. Working closely with senior developers departmental analysts and IT staff this role offers a strong opportunity to learn and grow while contributing to data modelling requirements gathering and the creation of insightful reporting and visualizations. The successful candidate will play a key role in deliveringaccuratetimely and data-driven insights that support informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Power BIor other BI tools. ensuring data is presented in a clear and understandable format.

• Integrate data from various sources into Power BI ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Sources includeDatabases Dataverse SharePoint Excel APIs.

• DevelopPower BI reports / automated extracts using M DAX SQL PythonPower Shell Power Automate...

• Document data models reports and dashboards to ensure that they are well-maintained and easy to understand.

• Providefeedback andguidance on best practices for datastoragequeryingmodellingtranslation andgeneralreport execution.

• Configure and manage various Power BI settings components and service elements.

• Manage Workspace administration including security modeling at User Report and Data levels.

• Troubleshoot issues in Power BI reports anddashboards andprovide ongoing maintenance and updates to ensureoptimalperformance.

• Support data validation and reconciliation processes both in-project and ad-hoc.

• Performdatainvestigationsand root-cause-analysis.

Qualifications

• 1-3years experiencein Power BI Desktop development

• Proficiencyin SQL DAXM Language(Power Query Formula Language)

• Experience with Power BI Security Workspace Admin and dataset/report migration

• Demonstratable skills inconnecting to the variousaforementioned databases

• Experience in RCA

• The ability to effectively communicate complex problems with business leaders and project stakeholders
  
  Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM)

• Familiarity with GoogleBigQuery

• Experience in project execution and development pipelines

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of Data Governance metadata management and compliance standards

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines Git-based version control and DevOps practicesfor BI deployments

• Knowledge of develop andmaintainscalable data pipelines / ETL process thatfacilitatethe collection transformation and storage of data from various sources
