Are you a Bookkeeper interested in the Mining industry and working closely with colleagues? Robert Half has an opportunity with a well-respected company.
The ideal candidate for this Bookkeeper position would be highly-skilled in A / P, A / R, General ledger, and financial reporting.
The short-term contract / temporary Bookkeeper will work in the Lac-des-iles, Quebec area.
Major responsibilities
- Maintain and balance general ledger
- Support quality archived records by filing documents
- Reconcile accounts by rectifying entries
- Design Accounts Receivable invoices, analyzing payments received, and record deposits
- Organize a structured method to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
- Assemble financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
- Be responsible for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Job Requirements :
- Practical knowledge of bank reconciliations
- Solid understanding of Sage 300
- Adjusting Journal Entries experience
- Proficiency in bi-Monthly Payroll
- Adeptness in journal entries
- Command of Accounts Payable (AP)
- General familiarity with Month-end Journal Entries
- Monthly Bank Reconciliation experience highly preferred
- Canadian Payroll experience preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of Ledger Journal Entries
- Prior experience working with collections / accounting software
- 2+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper
- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
