In this role, you will combine field and office responsibilities to measure, map, and analyze spatial data. You will support site layout, data collection, GIS modeling, and map creation to ensure project accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Integrate and manage multiple survey and geospatial data sources into a centralized, accurate spatial database.Convert and align data from various geodetic coordinate systems to project‑specific standards.Compile, catalogue, validate, and maintain all survey documentation and spatial datasets.Produce and validate base mapping, topographic data, and Digital Terrain Models (DTMs) according to project standards.Perform field verification to confirm the accuracy and completeness of survey and terrain data.Support the development, validation, and maintenance of the project survey control network and as‑built information.Coordinate and organize survey reviews and field checks, including GNSS, levelling, 3D scanning, and conventional survey methods.Integrate and validate design alignments across multiple disciplines to ensure a single, consistent geometric reference.Identify and resolve geometric inconsistencies at transition and interface zones.Develop and manage manual monitoring programs for buildings and levelling points.Coordinate field teams and maintain monitoring databases, ensuring data is formatted for project monitoring systems.Qualifications & Experience
Master’s degree in Geodesy or Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Surveying Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in surveying, geomatics, or geospatial engineering.Strong understanding of geodetic reference systems, including horizontal and vertical datums, map projections, coordinate transformations, scale factors, and orthometric heights.Experience with least squares adjustment, network design, and preprocessing GNSS and conventional survey data.Proficiency in GNSS and classical surveying techniques, including static GNSS, RTK / PPK, total stations, and digital levelling, with a focus on quality control and field verification.Solid understanding of alignment geometry and civil design fundamentals, including horizontal and vertical alignments, profiles, and cross sections.Experience working with CAD, BIM, GIS, and survey data integration within design models.Knowledge of 3D laser scanning workflows, including control placement, point cloud processing, registration, and validation.Experience with manual monitoring programs, including control benchmarks, repeatability procedures, and environmental corrections.Familiarity with tunnel and underground surveying methods, control network extension, and alignment tolerance requirements.Understanding of survey standards, accuracy classes, quality assurance processes, and technical reporting.Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey survey data to multidisciplinary engineering teams.#J-18808-Ljbffr
