Job Overview
Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic and results‑driven professional to join our team in the role of Project Technician – Electrical & Controls. Reporting to the First Line Manager, the Project Technician will work within the Field Engineering department, supporting safe operation of our nuclear facilities while focusing on quality control inspections, work planning assessments, liaising with project stakeholders, supporting contract partners and overseeing field activities. The role is responsible for checks and tests, drawing and code interpretation, report writing, quality inspections and quantity measurements to ensure assigned systems / facilities are installed and functioning in accordance with design specifications, satisfying the requirements of the applicable Quality Assurance (QA) program.
