The Central Québec School Board (CQSB) offers English-language education in the Capitale Nationale, Mauricie, Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, Thetford Mines, Chibougamau and Schefferville regions.
The CQSB proudly serves an elementary, secondary, adult, and vocational education population of approximately 5,000 students.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Director of Educational Services, the Coordinator of Educational Services coordinates, supervises, evaluates, and develops programs of study and activities related to the management of the school board's educational services.
His / her specific responsibilities are to :
- Participate in the development of the board's orientations and strategies with respect to the educational services for which he / she is responsible and, where applicable, collaborates in the determination of the annual action plan.
- Participate and coordinate in the development, implementation, and application of programs, means, pedagogical approaches and teaching methods, as well as evaluation and control methods relating to them.
- Develop the service offer to support regular, and specialized classroom staff as well as the professionals and managers of the school board
- Develop and maintain, in collaboration with human resources, a professional induction program for new teachers in line with the professional competency framework.
- Develop and support initiatives in techno-pedagogical practices.
- Inform and support school teams in preparing projects (budgetary rules) and grant applications. Ensure the reporting of these projects via Collecte Info, notably
- Coordinate activities related to the implementation and updating of the curriculum and local initiatives
- Coordinate activities related to home schooling.
- Network with various partners (LCEEQ, MEQ, DEEN, etc.)
- Coordinate the development, implementation, and improvement of educational services management tools for our establishments.
- Assist, as needed, the school administrators and administrative units of the school board.
- Ensure, when required, the transmission of all relevant information in order to provide support to administrators of the school board.
- Represent, when requested, the school board or the administrative unit on issues related to his / her sector of activity.
- Lead the team of educational consultants in their functions, according to the training needs, support, and accompaniment of the school teams
- Collaborate with the Coordinator of Complementary Services, the Coordinator of Educational Services / Strategic Planning and the Director of Educational Services on projects and files that mobilize, in direct support of the schools' administrators
- Be a stakeholder and collaborator in the Commitment to Success Plan.
