Job Description
Food & Beverage Administrator
Fairmont Chateau Whistler are searching for a Food & Beverage Administrator to join the team! This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient department operations, strong communication across teams, brand and compliance alignment, and an elevated guest experience.
This is a full-time, permanent position, beginning in February 2026.
Salary Range : $54,000 - $57,500 gross annually, dependent on skills and experience
Job Duties Include :
- Manage the daily administrative functions of the Food and Beverage office, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks
- Draft, prepare, and manage correspondence, presentations, memos, reports, and official communications
- Maintain departmental records including contracts, permits, attendance, confidential documents, and SOP libraries in a secure and organized manner
- Coordinate and manage the Food and Beverage calendar, including meetings, walkthroughs, training schedules, audits, and departmental events
- Provide administrative and coordination support to restaurants, bars, banquets, and in-room dining operations as required
- Consolidate and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly Food and Beverage reports, including revenue summaries, guest feedback, and performance trackers
- Assist with Food and Beverage budget preparation, expense tracking, purchase requests, and follow-up on local purchase orders
- Support scheduling, onboarding documentation, training records, and coordination with Human Resources
- Maintain audit documentation including LQA requirements, mystery audit action plans, SOP updates, and compliance checklists
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of Food and Beverage operational experiencePrevious administrative or coordinator experience preferredDegree or diploma in Hotel, Hospitality, or Food and Beverage Management is an assetStrong computer proficiency, including Excel and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Delphi, Property Manager, desktop publishing, and design software is an assetJob Perks & Benefits :
