The Manager of Cloud Platform & Network Engineering plays a pivotal role in driving cloud transformation, modernizing infrastructure, and leading a high performing engineering team. This role bridges business needs with technical execution, ensuring cloud and network solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals. You will guide cloud modernization efforts, champion DevOps practices, and oversee both daily operations and major migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implementcloud nativearchitectures on Azure and AWS, coveringcompute, storage, and networking.
• Lead platform, application, and databasemigrationusing modern cloud frameworks and best practices.
• Build andmaintainInfrastructure-as-Code(Terraform, Helm) for consistent, automated deployments.
• Optimizecloud performance and cost through rightsizing, autoscaling, and proactive resource management.
• Architect andmaintaincloud networking components including VNETs, subnets, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Automate network provisioning and configuration through CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Integrate observability and telemetry tools (Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch) for proactive network health monitoring.
• Implement security controls (firewalls, IDS / IPS, NAC) from design through deployment.
• Embed compliance checks into automated workflows and generate audit-ready reporting.
• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability remediation across cloud network layers.

Qualifications

The expected base salary range for this position is$118,500- $168,500. Depending on your relevant, experience, skills, qualifications, market conditions and business needs, base compensation may vary. You have the potential to earn more through Gore Mutual’s discretionary bonus program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.

Please note : This rangereflects the expected base salary for this role but may not represent the full compensation range for all experience and skill levels. During the recruitment process, we will discuss and consider how your unique qualifications align with the broader range for this position.
