Position Summary

Primary responsibility is to efficiently move and relocate trailers and containers within our transportation yard or facility. Duties include performing shunting maneuvers to position trailers for loading and unloading, ensuring the timely and safe transfer of cargo between storage areas and dock doors.

Location: Oshawa Ontario

Schedule: 45 hours/weekly - Night Shifts - Monday to Friday (weekend availability)

What you will do

• Managing a team of 5-7 Shunt Drivers
• Be able to assist where needed when managing the yard.
• Follow company rules and regulations with respect to safety and hours of service
• Ensure trailers are in good working condition and readily available to be loaded

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 1-2 years AZ Driving Experience in a leading role
• Shunting experience 1+ year considered an asset
• Valid class 1 License/Valid AZ license

Along with the following Skills & Competencies:

• Must be comfortable backing into small docks
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a consistent basis
