We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer to join our client's team. As a Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of complex mechanical systems and components for our company's products.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and manufacturing personnel, to ensure the successful execution of design projects.

The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles, advanced design software proficiency, and a proven track record in delivering high-quality designs.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and oversee the entire mechanical design process, from concept development to final product realization, ensuring compliance with project requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish design goals, project timelines, and resource allocation for mechanical design projects.
  • Utilize advanced design software and tools to create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings of mechanical components and systems.
  • Conduct thorough engineering analysis, including stress analysis, tolerance analysis, and simulation, to validate and optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers, offering expertise in mechanical design principles, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to select appropriate materials, components, and manufacturing processes that meet design requirements and quality standards.
  • Participate in design reviews, evaluate design alternatives, and provide recommendations to improve product performance, functionality, and manufacturability.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and quality control procedures during the design and development process.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in mechanical design and engineering, and apply relevant knowledge to enhance design capabilities and processes within the organization.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, identifying opportunities to streamline design workflows, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Designer or in a similar role, demonstrating a track record of successfully delivering high-quality designs for complex mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other relevant design tools.
