The Opportunity

Must be actively pursuing your CIP or willing to do so and have a minimum of 3 Year Adjuster experience.
Compensation can be negotiated, and relocation assistance will be available to the successful candidate, if needed.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should have a background / experience in Casualty Claims. Some experience in Ontario Accident Benefits would be an asset.
Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive) Previous adjusting experience preferred Advanced communication skills including :
- Effective written skills including grammar and those of a technical nature
- Effective oral skills, including listening, interviewing, negotiating, must be able to flex style appropriate to audience.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting priorities in an effective manner.

- Proactive and positive approach to customer service ensuring that all inquiries are effectively dealt with in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Experience
- University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience of Desktop or Field work
- Equivalency in combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Ongoing commitment to education and learning.
- Effective analytical skills, including identification of cause-and-effect dynamics
- Good investigative manner
- Able to draw valid conclusions and effectively communicate them.
- Ability to interpret complex documents of a legal nature, perform and understand advanced numerical calculations including analysis of comparative information.
Knowledge / experience handling third party liability claims.
Adjuster’s license, or currently pursuing or have completed the CIP designation.
Preference will be given to applicants who hold a CIP designation or qualify for probationary license or higher.
