BT Advantage, Client Accounting Specialist

Baker Tilly Windsor is looking for a Client Accounting Specialist to join our BT Advantage group. As a trusted advisor, you’ll use cutting-edge technology to deliver a full suite of services, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, financial reporting and payroll administration.

Your primary responsibilities will include :

• Perform full cycle accounting services utilizing cloud applications such as QBO or Xero;
• Assist with completion of payroll functions.
• Prepare basic T4 returns.
• Prepare month-end close procedures including reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards and ensuring transactions are properly journalized.
• Assist with government filings such as sales tax returns and payroll filings.
• Prepare monthly and / or quarterly financial reports and management reports.
• Collaborate with clients on a regular basis and assist them with day-to-day accounting inquires.
• Communicate issues to manager and collaborate on resolutions.
