Prairie Bus Lines has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Automotive Mechanic. This role is part-time with the potential to become full-time. The Mechanic is not restricted to duties in the shop, but is also expected to do field repair to work on down buses both within the city limits and in the rural areas and assigned on-call duties.

This is a part-time position; shifts can be in the mornings or afternoons. No weekends required. Can receive up to 20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ongoing maintenance/repair of buses
• CVIP Inspections
• Respond to breakdowns
• Spring and winter maintenance

Requirements:

• Journeyman Ticket
• Clear Criminal Record
• CVIP (Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program) License
• Own hand tools
