Detailed Job Description : As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for :
- Reading and interpreting engineered drawings.
- Performing setups and making program changes for yourself and others.
- Designing and specifying jigs to maximize efficiencies.
- Loading and securing raw materials using appropriate clamps, jigs, and other devices.
- Conducting first piece inspections prior to starting production runs.
- Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
- Completing quality control tests at various manufacturing stages and on the final product.
- Cleaning and maintaining the machines.
- Training new employees on machine operation procedures.
- Recommending changes in process or tooling to Supervisor or Plant Manager.
- Investigating and resolving machining problems.
- Continuous process and procedure improvement.
Candidate's Profile :
- Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience for new hires.
- Formal machinist training and experience in manufacturing.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Physical fitness to lift heavy materials onto machines and stand for prolonged periods.
