Summary
Under the guidance of the Guest Services Manager, the Club Lounge Server is responsible for providing exceptional service and positive interactions with the Red Deer Resort & Casino Club Lounge guests. At all times, Club Lounge Server is expected to be attentive to our guest’s needs, making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed. The Club Lounge Agent must have proven to problem‑solve and quick‑thinking skills in fast‑paced situations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete daily duties including, but not limited to : emptying garbage, stocking coolers, inventory counts
- Report to the Guest Service Manager / Supervisor items needing repair and / or replacement
- Greet guests entering the Club Lounge making them feel welcome and be available to approach at all times
- Ensure all Club Lounge criteria and policies are being adhered to
- Verify guest’s room number / name to confirm eligibility for Club Track guests following set procedures.
- Set up and take down complimentary meal items; adhere to all health & safety regulations
- Become familiar with services offered within the hotel and the City of Red Deer; answer guests’ inquiries regarding these services.
- Stay in constant communication with the Guest Service Manager / Supervisor to report guest concerns and / or items that need to be attended to regarding the Club Lounge
Education, Qualification and Requirements
One to two years of related hospitality experienceExperience in all aspects of customer service1 to 2-year Degree or Diploma; related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to analyze and interpret client’s needs and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and recommendationsExceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection‑handling skillsAble to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environmentAble to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners and stakeholdersKnowledge of using computer and MS Office applicationsProServe certification, ProTect certification requiredAble to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, in multiple languagesAs a condition of employment, associates are to have a criminal record check prior to their first day of workWork Environment

This is a casual position that requires adaptability and flexibility, as work hours will vary based on operational requirements. Shifts may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
