Job Overview
As a Distribution Team Member, you will perform diversified receiving, sorting, storing, picking, staging, value add and distribution duties supporting the operational needs of an integrated Distribution Center.
Hours of Work
Your hours of work will generally be Thursday to Monday, 7 : 00 am – 3 : 30 pm. Hours will be determined on a mutual basis between you and your leader and may be subject to change with notice.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet established receiving and distribution standards.
- Perform receiving duties including :
- Verify accuracy of warehouse deliveries and inspect items for damage or defects.
- Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received.
- Enter information using RF guns and computer system and / or complete appropriate paperwork.
- Unload inbound trailers, build pallets, sort and unpack items.
- Transport, locate, and put items in appropriate warehouse location.
- Perform distribution duties including :
- Fill pick order requests for warehouse items.
- Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
- Load requisitioned items into outbound trailers for transport to various locations.
- Enter information using RF guns and computer system and / or complete appropriate paperwork.
- Learn and utilize the functions of the RF guns and Warehouse Management Software.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Maintain a flexible schedule and work in all areas of distribution as required.
- Comply with all health and safety programs, policies and practices.
- Adhere to all company policies and communicate effectively with the leadership team.
- Maintain quality service by following organizational standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
1–3 years of warehouse experience preferred.High School Diploma or equivalent required.Ability to read and perform basic math functions.Skilled in operating warehouse equipment (e.g., motorized pallet jack, hi‑reach truck, counterbalance).Accuracy and attention to detail.Knowledge of supply chain and flow of goods.Willingness to train and operate motorized and manual material handling equipment.Physically fit with the ability to lift / carry 50 lbs on a repetitive basis; ability to stand, bend, lift and / or reach for extended periods of time.Benefits & Perks
