Your function
I am currently recruiting an Electrical Engineer for one of my clients, a manufacturing company in the electrical energy sector, located in Chambly - Permanent position 40h / week - day shift - Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be in charge of the following tasks :
- Build design projects in the fields of energy storage and renewable energies.
- To this end, you will analyze energy requirements, draw up electrical plans, functional diagrams and dimensioning of energy storage systems.
- Ensure system control and protection drawings
- You are responsible for the progress of the project and sub-projects (quality, costs, deadlines).
- Participate in the automation and programming of equipment according to customer requirements

Your profile
- Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical design in the manufacturing sector
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering - ING designation required
- Knowledge of production equipment, microgrids, electrical networks and renewable energies
- Experience in electrical panel design (schematics, commands, power, relays, control, power circuits)
- Knowledge of automation (drawings, diagrams) and systems integration
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, IEEE, CSA and UL standards
- Salary : $80k - $110k - depending on experience - face-to-face position with flexible working hours
- Monday to Friday day shift - full insurance, RRSP and other benefits
