Claims Manager, Accident Benefits and Audits

Hybrid Work Arrangement 2 days in office a month) Flexible on Location if commuting is not an issue into Toronto.

Our client is a one of a kind that specializes in automotive insurance. They are looking for a leader in compliance who brings knowledge in Accident Benefits and Bodily Injury.

The successful candidate will bring between 5 to 10 years experience in all these expertise along with managing a team to positively impacting the business and improve efficiencies.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead, develop and mentor a team while fostering collaboration.
  • Manage, review, develop and implement risk-based audit plans and ensure proper resourcing.
  • Oversee audit reports and provide support to resolve anomalies.
  • Prepare reports for the Audits & Risk Committee and other Company Leaders.
  • Lead and participate in departmental or cross-functional projects.
  • Conduct regular communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Qualifications / Attributes

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • CIP / CRM Designation or working towards one.
  • Relevant experience in Automobile Insurance and Accident Benefits.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance regulatory environments.
  • Effective communication and sound problem-solving capacity.
  • Vastly adaptable to varying situations and highly analytical.
  • Organized and well developed discretion in interpreting and applying policies.
  • Organized with the ability to plan complex activities, adjusting plans as needed.
  • Manage a team, assign work and evaluate performance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and Company standards.
  • Encouraging leader who demonstrates a positive public image.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint, experience with audit software is a plus.
