The Senior Accountant plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis for the organization. Responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, conducting analyses to identify trends and areas for improvement, and assisting with audit preparation, this role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

The Senior Accountant must exhibit exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities while embracing change and striving for continuous improvement in all financial processes.

Main responsibilities include :

• Prepare and review brand monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Conduct financial analysis to review and validate monthly results, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Assist with the annual audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors.
• Continuously assess the month-end close process to reduce the timing required to close the financial period.
• Analyze data and information to provide accounting insights and recommendations for strategic problems.
• Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with the budget preparation process and update monthly forecasts.
• Contribute to the development of process and procedure documentation.
• Support junior staff and perform other duties as required or assigned.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.

Job Requirements : Qualifications :

Qualifications :

• CPA designation, or nearing completion.
• Minimum of 3+ years of accounting or external audit experience experience with strong knowledge of fundamental accounting principles.
• Ability to challenge the status quo and proactively identify and implement improved approaches.
• Analytical mind with strong problem-solving and conceptual skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience in Oracle NetSuite, preferred.
