CTCH 110-398 - Intro to Creative Technologies - Online - Summer 2026

Position Summary

An entry level course that investigates the creative use of technology. It explores how computer hardware software, machinery and gadgets and devices, and networks (including social networks) are used in the production of works of visual art, music, theatre, film and new media; and how creativity shapes new technologies.

Position Requirements The successful candidate must have completed or be in process of completing a MFA, MA, PhD with a focus in Creative Technologies and or equivalency. Evidence of experience teaching creative technologies, including hardware and software relevant to the class as it has been taught since 2023 is necessary. Experience managing classroom and online technologies used by UofR and experience teaching at the university level is necessary.
