Residential Estimator
We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator for a medium-sized residential home builder. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in estimating residential townhome projects, with demonstrated skills in preparing budgets and scope of work.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare accurate estimates for stacked townhome projects.
- Review and interpret project plans and specifications.
- Work with the project team to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Manage the estimating process from start to finish, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Provide guidance and direction for direct reports.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating residential townhome projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other project documents.
- Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with estimating software is preferred.
This is a full-time position with a salary of $90,000 plus bonus, and an opportunity for career advancement to run the department.
