Job Description
Roxy Lounge is an exciting addition to the vibrant downtown scene in Sarnia. As a new restaurant, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and a memorable dining experience to our patrons.
We’re looking for dedicated individuals to join our team and contribute to our success.
We are seeking a Part-time Server who is enthusiastic, customer-oriented, and experienced in food and beverage service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests while assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our establishment.
Responsibilities :
- Greet and welcome customers
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Take food and beverage orders
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner
- Clean and reset tables for the next guests
- Refill drinks in the freezer as needed
- Maintain cleanliness in the washrooms, ensure amenities are stocked
- Clear and empty trash bins regularly
- Load glasses into the dishwasher and return them to service areas
- Follow opening and closing procedures as outlined in the to-do list
- Maintain a positive attitude and provide exceptional customer service at all times
Required skills and qualifications :
- Minimum 1 year of server experience in a restaurant, bar, or similar environment
- Knowledge about various liqueurs and beverages
- Smart Serve certification is mandatory
- Punctuality and reliability are essential
Schedule :
- Availability to work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Availability for shifts during store hours (10 : 30 am to 11 : 30 pm)
- Potential to transition to a full-time position in the future
Wage : $16.55 per hour + Tips
