We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Monetization Manager to join our dynamic team in the mobile gaming industry.

As a Monetization Manager, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the monetization strategies for our games. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth through effective live operations management, strategic scheduling, game economy balancing, and leveraging your SQL expertise to extract actionable insights.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including game designers, analysts, and marketing to define monetization strategies that align with the game's design and player preferences.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for enhancing our game's monetization models.
  • Design, plan, and execute engaging in-game events, promotions, and sales to drive player engagement and revenue.
  • Monitor and analyze real-time performance metrics during live events, making data-driven adjustments to optimize event outcomes.
  • Create and manage a comprehensive in-game event schedule, ensuring a balanced and engaging player experience over time.
  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure seamless implementation of scheduled events, updates, and content releases.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to evaluate the in-game economy, virtual goods pricing, and resource distribution, maintaining a balanced and compelling player progression experience.
  • Implement adjustments to game mechanics, rewards, and pricing based on player behavior and revenue objectives.
  • Utilize SQL and data analysis tools to extract and interpret player behavior, spending patterns, and other relevant data points.
  • Generate regular reports and insights to guide decision-making for both short-term live ops and long-term game development strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics, Game Design, or related field
  • Proven experience (6+ years) as a Monetization Manager or similar role within the mobile gaming industry, with a focus on puzzle games.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective monetization strategies that drive revenue growth and player engagement.
  • Strong understanding of game design principles and player psychology, particularly within the puzzle game genre.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools to extract, manipulate, and present data-driven insights.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for gaming and staying updated with industry trends and developments.
