A pioneer in cannabis research, cultivation, and distribution, Tilray’s unprecedented production platform supports over 20 brands in over 20 countries, including comprehensive cannabis offerings, hemp-based foods, and alcoholic beverages Job Summary : In this role, the Supply Planner’s goal is to coordinate the successful inventory readiness for all Adult Use Cannabis Orders in Canada.
In the course of their work, the planner will work with multiple sites and liaise closely with co-packers, Production Planners, other Tilray licensed production sites, Commercial Planning, Quality and Logistics.
The Supply Planner will be an integral part in the efficiency of overall product flow. To succeed in this role, you should be professional, highly-analytical, and possess excellent communication skills.
Key Accountabilities The following each relate to all provinces the Supply Planner is responsible for (this position would be responsible for the East+ region) :
- Monitor and maintain Finished Good inventory levels within the service level set (weeks on hand)
- Planning and Scheduling Tax Stamping Work Orders to convert WIP to Finished Good
- Planning and Scheduling Transfers of Finished Good Inventories from manufacturing sites required to fulfill the Orders of each of the provinces in the Supply Planner’s Region
- Participate in and / or complete the creation of any weekly Offer Sheet processes that pertain
- Monitor and maintain the Allocations of WIP inventory
- Shorts Management, done through maintaining Hot list of priorities and actively communicating unavoidable shorts on open orders
- Additional related projects as assigned
Qualifications
- University Degree / College Diploma in relevant program
- 5 years of related experience
- Experience working in ERP system environments
- Expert in Excel
- Experience leveraging Business Intelligence applications
- Experience in Cannabis industry an asset
