Forests, Gardens, and Trails Summer Seasonal Labourer – Municipal Parks
Full-Time, Seasonal

You’ll be eager for the opportunities available with our Municipal Parks team this summer to “Take Care of Banff” by maintaining our trails, flowers, and perennial beds.
Position Overview :
As a summer seasonal laborer, your duties will include :

If you are reliable, energetic, flexible, have a positive attitude, are willing to learn new tasks, have an eye for detail, and are ready to work outside in all temperatures and weather conditions, the Town of Banff is happy to consider your application for our Municipal Parks crew.
Contracts will commence May 5, 2026, and run until October 3, 2026, with possibility of extension (weather depending) or full‑time permanent employment for the right candidate. Municipal Parks operates seven days a week on a compressed schedule. Working four 10‑hour shifts (6am – 4pm) a week will leave you 3 days off each week to enjoy all that summer in Banff has to offer. This Seasonal contract could lead to a Permanent position for the right candidate.
Qualifications and Attributes :
The rate of pay is between $22.00 / hour and $25.00 / hour depending on experience. When you complete the term of your contract, in its entirety, you will be awarded a $1.00 per hour bonus (to be paid on your final pay cheque) for each regular hour worked.
Working safely is a condition of employment at the Town of Banff.
