Tasks
- Evaluate, select, and approve suppliers, define product control standards, and validate suppliers' pre-productions.
- Analyze, prepare, and approve quality-related documents for products requested by clients and the GD-OTS Canada quality system.
- Validate and ensure the effectiveness of measurement methods.
- Propose, approve, and submit modification or deviation requests to the client regarding manufactured products.
- Coordinate, develop, administer, and facilitate the Material Review Board (MRB) and monitor non-conformities.
- Evaluate the technical skills of quality inspectors at a supplier in accordance with GD-OTS Canada standards.
- Validate inspection and testing techniques (SME, SMF, etc.) and validate the plan regarding major defects in the SMFs.
- Analyze, develop, and approve documentation related to product quality, in compliance with client requirements and the quality system.
- Perform other related tasks.

Job requirements
- Hold a college diploma (DEC) in mechanical engineering technology or a related field.
- Have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
- In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and defect control methods.
