Our Ideal Candidate
As the successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to plan, coordinate and execute the design of a wide variety of civil projects.
You are capable of scoping, budgeting, designing and managing civil projects such as land development, bridge design, roads, storm water and drainage management, water supply and treatment, and sewage treatment and disposal as well as field services projects.
Duties include performing assessments / inspections; estimating project costs; preparing designs, drawings and specifications;
and preparing reports, proposals and contract documentation. Using your considerable organizational, communication and people skills, you will collaborate with multi-discipline teams to ensure projects are completed within allotted schedules and budgets, and to high quality standards.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 4+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering, preferably in an engineering consulting environment
- Must be registered (or eligible for registration) as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in the province of BC
- Proven experience using Civil 3D is an asset
- Proven experience with First Nations and rural communities is an asset
- Experience and expertise related to community water and sewer systems is an asset
- Proven experience preparing successful funding and grant applications is an asset
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) and proven ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-disciplined environment
- Technical competence and strong attention to detail

A competitive salary between $100,000.00 and $130,000.00 depending on skills and experience.
