Reporting to the Process Plant Planning General Supervisor, you will be part of the Process Plant Maintenance Department.
You will be responsible for the organization and distribution of tools and materials in the process plant areas. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Organize, service and distribute materials and tools associated with the operation and maintenance of the Process Plant;
- Keep accurate records of staged materials and tools distributed and received at the plant;
- Ensure that damaged or broken tools or materials are dealt with efficiently; arranging for outside servicing or coordinating in-house repairs;
- Ensure material storage areas well organized and maintained to a high standard;
- Perform research on items in the ERP (SAP) system and assist in physical counts and audits;
- Identify, develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve the safe and efficient execution of maintenance tasks.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Certification in a Maintenance Trade or Supply Chain experience combined with a minimum of five years experience in an industrial / mining setting;
- Proficient in Microsoft applications and familiar with inventory management software applications;
- Expertise in SAP is considered as an asset.
