Azoria- Dolphin Fiberglass Pools, located in Trenton, is a growing Canadian manufacturer known for producing premium-quality fiberglass swimming pools with precision, consistency, and craftsmanship. High-quality molds are the foundation of every pool we build, and we are looking for a skilled technician to help maintain and improve these critical tools.
Job Duties:
- Inspect Dolphin pool molds for cracks, chips, surface defects, or wear
- Perform professional composite repairs using fiberglass, resin systems, gelcoat, and fillers
- Restore and maintain high-gloss mold surfaces through sanding, buffing, polishing, and refinishing
- Maintain mold geometry and dimensional accuracy to ensure consistent pool production
- Document mold condition, repairs completed, and upcoming maintenance needs
- Assist with mold cleaning, tear-down, prepping, and reconditioning
- Collaborating with lamination, gelcoat, and production leads to troubleshooting mold issues
- Follow Dolphin’s safety procedures, PPE requirements, styrene-control measures, and 5S workplace standards
- Maintain a clean, organized mold maintenance area aligned with lean manufacturing practices
Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience in fiberglass repair, automotive bodywork, marine repair, or composite lamination
- Skilled in gelcoat spraying, sanding, grinding, buffing, and surface restoration
- Strong understanding of resin systems, composite structures, and curing processes
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, work overhead or on ladders, and handle physical tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a small team
- Comfortable following SOPs, safety standards, and quality expectations
Additional Information:
- Training provided for advanced gelcoat repair and finishing techniques
- All PPE provided
- Full Time Day/ afternoon shift 42.5 hours weekly
- Overtime may be required during high- production periods
- Starting wage $18.00 – $19.00 hourly
