Job descriptionSecondary (high) school graduation certificate On site. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations Load and unload goods Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform brake adjustments Perform emergency roadside repairs Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Transport and handle dangerous goods AZ class license Accident or incident reports Bill of lading Driver logbook Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) Maintenance and repair reports Tractor-trailer Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment Long-haul Criminal record check Valid driver's licence Attention to detail Physically demanding Sitting Cellular phone Efficient interpersonal skills Flexibility Reliability Team player As per collective agreement
