Our Public Sector Client requires a Senior OpenShift Consultant (10+ Years) to Support Cloud-Based Platform Integration.
The successful candidate will support the integration of Red Hat OpenShift across AWS and Azure environments, aligning with the organization’s cloud strategy.
The candidate will analyze the client's existing infrastructure, focusing on the integration and management of OpenShift as a Platform as a Service (PaaS) across multiple cloud ecosystems, particularly AWS and Azure.
This includes installing and managing OpenShift on virtual machines, ensuring compatibility and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities :
- Analyze and assess the client's cloud infrastructure, focusing on the integration of Red Hat OpenShift across AWS and Azure.
- Install OpenShift on virtual machines and ensure it can be consumed as a Platform as a Service.
- Identify gaps in the current use of AWS and Azure for managing lower levels of the stack and propose improvements.
- Lead the deployment of OpenShift ARO on Azure and Red Hat OpenShift on AWS, ensuring seamless platform operations.
- Conduct interviews with stakeholders and technical teams to gather data and document system requirements.
- Evaluate and document strategies for managing OpenShift in data centers, addressing issues encountered in Platform as a Service (PaaS) operations.
- Merge findings to propose a comprehensive strategy for platform management and provide operational recommendations.
- Address challenges in OpenShift deployments by leveraging deep experience with cloud-based platforms.
Must Haves :
- Experience with OpenShift
- Experience deploying OpenShift as a Platform as a Service (PaaS) .
- Experience managing OpenShift ARO on Azure and RedHat OpenShift on AWS.
Nice to Haves :
- Experience with network modernizations and cloud-based platform integration.
- Familiarity with hybrid or multi-cloud OpenShift deployments across AWS and Azure.
