Our valued public sector client is hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead an email migration project from a legacy system to a Microsoft platform.

Background :

The Email Migration Project, mandated by the Treasury Board Secretariat, is intended to modernize collaboration tools to enable, engage and empower employees. These collaborative tools include SharePoint, MS Teams, Office , and Exchange Online. The Email Migration project is intended to merge DWAN and cloud based email / calendars and ensure a uniform experience.

Tasks May Include :

• Provide leadership and understanding of Microsoft platform and applications.
• Serve as a key liaison between Email Migration project and clients, facilitating meetings, knowledge transfer, and problem resolution in assigned areas of responsibility.
• Manage project / initiatives including initiation, planning, scheduling, implementation, and closure activities in accordance with the PMBOK framework.
• Formulate statements of problems and establish procedures for the development and implementation of significant, new, or modified project elements to solve these problems.
• Prepare plans, charts, tables, and diagrams to assist in analyzing or displaying problems and work with a variety of project management tools.
