LOCATION : Hybrid Model – when working onsite, you will report to the location of City Hall

HOURLY RATE : $21.48

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY :

Reports to the Manager, Accounting, provide project, program, and / or administrative support to the Finance division. Ensures efficient and effective delivery of programs and services by providing direct functional support in a specialized / technical area of work, and responds to inquiries received by the section / division.

• Provide program assistance and support for divisional initiatives, programs, processes, projects, and eventsRespond to customer inquiries / concerns and provide information regarding programs and services to meet divisional service standardsIndependently fulfills administrative and program duties as related to area of work, including correspondence, documentation, minute taking, preparing memos and reports, presentationsSupports Corporate project leads in the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of divisional policies, programs, special eventsParticipates in working groups and brainstorming sessions to provide input, ideas, insightsAssist with data entry and database management (data audits, reconciliations, Perform qualitative / quantitative research and analysis in a technical and / or specialized discipline to identify trends, industry best practices, and opportunities for continuous improvement Communicate and follow up with business partners (internal and external) to complete tasks / projects on time Prepares project / program updates for review by managementMaintain confidentiality based on the requirement to access and maintain sensitive sectional or divisional and organizational communication, reports, materials and recordsMaintain an understanding of department programs and servicesUnderstand, adhere to, and enforce Corporate Policies & Procedures, Confidentiality Guidelines, Emergency Procedures and Health and Safety Standards for all participants and staffAttend meetings / training as required
