We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with deep technical expertise in dip brazing processes to support production, equipment commissioning, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of process knowledge, equipment setup and commissioning experience, and disciplined technical documentation, and is comfortable working hands-on in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Dip Brazing Process Ownership
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for aluminum dip brazing processes, including fluxing, furnace operation, and post-braze handling
- Define, optimize, and maintain brazing parameters to ensure consistent quality, throughput, and metallurgical integrity
- Troubleshoot brazing defects (., voids, leaks, distortion, incomplete braze, oxidation)
Equipment Setup & Commissioning
Lead or support equipment installation, setup, commissioning, and validation of dip brazing furnaces and associated systemsCollaborate with equipment vendors, maintenance, and controls teams during startup and modificationsSpecify tooling, fixturing, and auxiliary equipment to support stable brazing operationsEstablish and maintain equipment parameter limits, alarm strategies, and preventive maintenance requirementsProcess Documentation & Standards
Create and maintain process documentation, including : Standard work instructions and routingsProcess flow diagrams and standard operating proceduresControl plans and PFMEAsEnsure documentation complies with AS9100, customer specifications, and internal change‑control requirementsTrain production and maintenance personnel on documented processes and standardsManufacturing Support & Continuous Improvement
Provide daily engineering support to production-related issuesDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cost, safety, and efficiencySupport new product introductions (NPI) with DFMEA / PFMEA input, process development, and pilot buildsPartner with Quality, Production, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve cross-functional issuesYou Must have :
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Aerospace, or other applicable Engineering discipline5 or more years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in an aerospace or similarly regulated manufacturing environment2 or more years of demonstrated hands‑on expertise with dip brazing processes (aluminum preferred)Must be eligible for CGP, CSP, and Secret ClearanceWe Value :
