Key Responsibilities
Review work orders and plan daily tasks
Inspect equipment and machinery for electrical issues
Repair, maintain, and install motors, generators, and alternators
Maintain industrial batteries and hydraulic / pneumatic electrical systems
Troubleshoot and repair electrical control systems
Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical / process instrumentation diagrams
Maintain accurate maintenance records
Ensure tools and work areas are clean and organized
Escalate unresolved issues to supervision as required
Qualifications
Valid Red Seal Electrician Certification
Minimum 5 years of industrial electrician experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong working knowledge of PLCs (Allen-Bradley) and control systems
Proven ability to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems
Must supply own tools
Strong safety awareness and ability to work independently
