JOB TITLE : Carrier Sourcing Specialist

LOCATION : Burlington, ON, CAN

SALARY RANGE : $60,-65, + annual bonus, commission potential

4. What Will You Do?

Source, qualify, and negotiate with carriers across truckload, LTL, and intermodal modes to secure reliable, cost-effective capacity

Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners, ensuring service quality and compliance

Negotiate rates with carriers and trucking partners to offer competitive rates to customers

Monitor freight market trends and provide insights to optimize procurement strategies

Collaborate with sales and operations teams to align carrier procurement with customer requirements

Maintain accurate carrier data, rate agreements, and compliance documentation

Support issue resolution, claims, and escalations in partnership with operations

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service and reduce costs

5. What Do You Bring?

Minimum 2 –3 years of experience in carrier procurement, freight brokerage, or logistics operations (3PL preferred)

Strong negotiation and relationship management skills

Knowledge of freight markets, transportation modes, and carrier compliance requirements

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

High sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure.
