4. What Will You Do?
Source, qualify, and negotiate with carriers across truckload, LTL, and intermodal modes to secure reliable, cost-effective capacityBuild and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners, ensuring service quality and complianceNegotiate rates with carriers and trucking partners to offer competitive rates to customersMonitor freight market trends and provide insights to optimize procurement strategiesCollaborate with sales and operations teams to align carrier procurement with customer requirementsMaintain accurate carrier data, rate agreements, and compliance documentationSupport issue resolution, claims, and escalations in partnership with operationsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service and reduce costs5. What Do You Bring?
Minimum 2 –3 years of experience in carrier procurement, freight brokerage, or logistics operations (3PL preferred)Strong negotiation and relationship management skillsKnowledge of freight markets, transportation modes, and carrier compliance requirementsExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency with transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentHigh sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure.#MT1
