Senior Vice President, Supply Chain

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy that supports the company’s growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align supply chain strategies with broader business goals.
  • Lead innovation initiatives within the supply chain to drive efficiency, agility, and sustainability.

Logistics & Transportation Management

  • Oversee domestic and international logistics operations to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
  • Drive initiatives to optimize transportation, reduce costs, and improve delivery lead times.
  • Build partnerships with carriers and logistics providers to maintain a reliable and efficient supply chain.

Warehouse & Inventory Management

  • Ensure optimal warehouse operations, implementing best practices in warehousing and distribution.
  • Oversee inventory control processes to maintain accuracy, reduce excess stock, and ensure adequate stock levels to meet demand.
  • Develop and implement performance metrics to optimize warehouse efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.

Asia Operations Management

  • Direct and oversee supply chain operations in Asia, including sourcing, supplier partnerships, and compliance.
  • Develop strategies to improve vendor relations, quality assurance, and cost efficiency within Asia-based suppliers.
  • Ensure robust systems are in place for tracking performance, quality standards, and ethical practices.

Process Optimization & Cost Reduction

  • Drive continuous improvement across all areas of the supply chain, focusing on cost reductions and process efficiencies.
  • Implement advanced technologies and analytics to enhance supply chain planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
  • Benchmark supply chain performance against industry standards to identify areas for improvement.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Build and develop a high-performing, collaborative supply chain team, emphasizing cross-functional integration.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous learning.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop supply chain leaders and emerging talent within the team.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on logistics, warehousing, inventory, and international operations.
  • Proven track record of leading global supply chain teams and driving transformative supply chain improvements.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain technologies, including ERP and warehouse management systems.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience with Asia-based supply chain operations and supplier management preferred.
