Job Title : Electro-Mechanical Technician

Job Description

As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for traveling to client sites (up to Windsor) to answer client questions and concerns.

Your duties will include replacing, installing, and troubleshooting machinery, making machine adjustments, completing machine accuracy testing procedures, and reverse engineering problems.

You will also be expected to understand high-speed machining processes, perform machine installation, equipment certification, and preventative maintenance.

Required Qualifications

• Technical Education : Apprenticeship, Technical College, or University Degree
• Minimum five years of technician experience, troubleshooting, debugging and installation of a CNC machine
• Familiarity with ladder editing
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls, Heidenhain, and Siemens
• Knowledge of machine adjustments (geometry, level
• Experience with mill / lathe CNC machines

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in OAKVILLE, Ontario and some days remote.

Work Environment & Shift

You will be working in a well-lit, temperature-controlled plant, traveling to customer sites in the areas of Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, Brampton, North York, Scarborough, and occasionally Windsor.

You could be visiting one to three customers a day, depending on the work that needs to be completed.

8 : 30AM-5 : 00PM.

Along with driving, work weeks are approximately 50 hours long.
