COMPANY OVERVIEW

Volatus Aerospace is establishing Canadas first sovereign MALE (Medium-Altitude Long-Endurance) RPAS capability through the development and production of newly acquired aircraft platforms. As part of this initiative, we are building a world-class RPAS Innovation and Manufacturing Hub in Mirabel to support the global market.

JOB OVERVIEW

This role involves integrating and validating autonomy software across UAV hardware systems, including autopilot interfaces, avionics, sensors, onboard computing payloads, HITL rigs, telemetry, and data logging infrastructure. The successful candidate will support rapid iteration from development to flight by ensuring reliable performance on real hardware. This position is based in Mirabel, Quebec

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Integrate autonomy software with flight systems, sensors, and onboard computing components.
• Build and maintain development, test, and validation environments (simulation and bench setups).
• Develop tooling for logging, telemetry, configuration management, and deployment workflows.
• Troubleshoot integration issues across software and hardware boundaries.
• Support flight test readiness and rapid iteration during test campaigns.
• Maintain system documentation and interface definitions.

APERU DU POSTE

Ce poste consiste intgrer et valider des logiciels dautonomie sur des systmes matriels UAV, notamment les interfaces de pilote automatique, lavionique, les capteurs, les charges utiles de calcul embarqu, les bancs dessai HITL, la tlmtrie et linfrastructure de journalisation des donnes. La personne retenue soutiendra des cycles ditration rapides, du dveloppement jusquaux essais en vol, en assurant des performances fiables sur du matriel reCe poste est bas Mirabel, Qubec
