Warehouse Manager

We are currently looking to fill the position of Warehouse manager to handle the daily operations of the warehouse 400,000sqf , including freight, shipping and receiving, returns, and parts. The successful applicant will maintain high levels of accuracy in day-to-day operations, lead and develop the warehouse team and provide impeccable customer service to our clients. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly. Responsibilities

• Experience and knowledgeable in setting up and manage a distribution central warehouse, including but not limit to racking, equipment, shipping and receiving, operations
• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
• Perform general maintenance of machinery used in the warehouse
• Manage the warehouse tools and equipment with scheduled inspection
• Knowledgeable of materials for shipping and receiving need
• Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
• Plan work rotations assign tasks appropriately and evaluate employees
• Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
• Manage customer service requests promptly and resolve issues quickly
• Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN / OUT status report, dead stock report etc)
• Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
