Your mission should you accept it :
Under the supervision of the Project Manager and the Project Director, the General superintendent oversees the construction work related to the different areas of activities (environment, civil works, foundation, collection system or installation) and works closely with the Project Engineer and the Site Coordinators to ensure the quality of the work and the progress of the project.
Two municipalities, Dégelis and Saint-Jean-de-la-Lande, located in the MRC of Témiscouata in the administrative region of Bas-Saint-Laurent will host the 45 wind turbines as part of this Project which will be connected to an existing transmission line of Hydro-Québec of 315 kilovolts in service in the municipality of Dégelis.
The project will consist of approximately 45 wind turbines and is scheduled to be commissioned by the end of 2026

- High school diploma and certificate / card / diploma (depending on province) or relevant experience;
- 5 to 10 years of experience in similar positions;
- Good oral and written communication skills in English;
- High geographical mobility;
- Hold a valid driver's license;
- Ability to work in a team and good interpersonal attitude;
- Autonomy and leadership;
- Excellent team management skills and conflict resolution methods;
- Be able to adapt to a very stressful environment and to weather fluctuations (construction site).
What you will do to complete this mission successfully :
- Planning site facilities and temporary site development;
- Participate in meetings related to the execution and scheduling of tasks;
- Coordinate the work of the crews in their trade and ensure quality and production while respecting the work schedule;
- Monitor the progress of teams and subcontractors work;
- Playing a crucial role in the implementation and application of the quality plan;
- Ensure compliance with safety rules and standards on the site;
- Participate in safety meetings and training courses;
- Communicate with the Project Manager and Project Engineer the list of supplies, products and materials required for the work and maintain an inventory of these items;
- Conduct site inspections prior to the beginning of the construction’s work;
- Conduct evaluation of subcontractors and report non-conformances to the scope to Site Coordinators;
- Designing the work schedule of his trade in collaboration with the Work Coordinators;
- Coordinate access to the turbine areas with the Road Coordinator.
- Other related duties.
