Our HR team is growing, and we are looking for a new Human Resources Business Partner to join our constantly expanding company in a booming industry in our Kitchener’s division, Onward.
Your role will include, among other things, acting as a generalist to analyze needs and / or specific situations requiring the involvement of the HR team, recommending best management practices by exercising your advisory role in human resources with managers and employees across all our Ontario’s divisions.
You will also have the opportunity to participate in the development and deployment of HR projects, processes, and best practices in line with the company’s culture and vision.
Some examples of what you can expect on a daily basis :
- A manager contacts you to discuss a management challenge encountered with an employee on their team and asks you to assist in their administrative or disciplinary management.
- An HR project requires you to extract information reports from our ADP Work Force Now system to make modifications as part of the continuous improvement of the HRIS.
- Your manager asks you to participate in an interdepartmental meeting to develop new joint processes and optimize a good working environment.
- There is a recurring issue in a specific HR area, and you need to analyze the situation to propose a solution that complies with internal practices.
- Various other tasks related to compensation, benefits, performance management, talent acquisition, talent development, working conditions, policies, and processes, to name a few.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management.
- Have 5 to 7 years of work experience as an HR generalist.
- In-depth knowledge of all human resources functions.
- Understanding of strategic and operational issues to support our internal policies and processes.
- Good knowledge of the laws and regulations of Ontario.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
- Work experience with an HRIS (knowledge of the ADP-WorkForceNow system is an asset).
- Be a member of the Human Resources Professionals Association (an asset).
- Bilingualism (French and English) both written and spoken (an asset).
