Position Overview :
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Mechanic's Assistant for the summer season. This position is ideal for a student looking to gain hands-on experience in the automotive repair industry.
Under the guidance of our experienced technicians, you will have the opportunity to learn valuable skills and contribute to our team's success.
Responsibilities :
- Assist technicians with various tasks such as vehicle inspections, tire rotations, oil changes, and other repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by cleaning tools and work areas.
- Learn to operate and maintain automotive equipment and tools safely.
- Assist with the installation and removal of vehicle components as directed.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements :
- Enrolled in a high school or post-secondary program, preferably in automotive maintenance and repair or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions closely.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be punctual and reliable.
