Job Summary : Synopsis
Synopsis
Development & Support activities of the Commercial Banking application for the leading US Commercial & Investment Bank. The project involved understanding the Commercial banking application's risk & reporting stream used by the business users and supporting / enhancing its Infrastructure e.
g. database, critical batches, web servers.
My Responsibilities include
To ensure prompt addressing of financial user’s query within defined SLA production support project.
To design application architecture, database developer (Oracle / Sybase) and backend developer (Shell scripting / Perl)
Batch designing and implementation in Unix / Linux using shell scripting, Perl.
To troubleshoot and resolve the batch issues by coordinating with other cross functional teams within the prescribed timelines and make aware of the impact to the business.
To work on development part for the enhancement / fixes based on the Business requirement which includes setup batch jobs in Control M, creating / modifying DB objects, Shell scripts.
Data processing and complex data calculations in SQL for data warehouse and downstream reporting
ETL operations and performance tuning the complex SQL and DML queries.
To collaborate with business users for requirement gathering involving all SDLC phases.
To ensure with the compliance for Incident Management and Change Management.
Reviewing and maintaining the Technical / Functional Design documents and operations.
To participate in the BCP / DR activities for ensuring the smooth business operations.
To leverage the automations for repetitive manual tasks / interventions.
Preparing metric reports which includes incidents, outages, efforts, releases for the client.
Server migration activities to Linux platform
