The Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) is seeking a Talent Acquisition (TA) Associate to join its Corporate & Business Operations TA team.
Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Associate oversees the internal recruitment process for both unionized and non-contract positions, playing an integral role in health care recruitment across the province.

What you’ll do
- Carry out accountabilities for assigned portfolio including verifying job postings, reviewing a high volume of applications and generating applicant lists as per posting deadlines for hiring leaders across the organization in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Contribute to ongoing process improvement and standardization. Demonstrate compliancy with HR policies and recruitment processes and guidelines.
- Manage centralized email boxes - respond to employee inquiries by providing guidance and orientation on processes, and by providing detailed information on job / assignment, HR policies and BC Employment Standards.
- Provide assistance to Advisor and TA team members, HR managers, hiring leaders / designates non-contract and unionized staff in regards to the recruitment process and policies.
- Abide by PHSA Storage & Retention of Competition Files process guidelines by receiving, reviewing and storing documentation of competition files.
What you bring
Qualifications
A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Diploma in Human Resource Management plus a minimum of one (1) year of recent related experience.
Skills & Knowledge
- Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada as per TRC (2015) and BC's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (2019).
- As a strong asset for consideration, we are looking for our successful candidate to have : Knowledge of social, economic, political and historical realities impacting indigenous communities and familiarity with Indigenous Cultural Safety and anti-racism and accompanying reports (BC DRIPA, TRC, etc.).
- Knowledge of Collective Agreements within Healthcare sector is an asset.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; aptitude to listen, ascertain the needs of clients, develop relationships, and respond accordingly in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize work with emphasis on time sensitive and confidential matters.
- Must possess a high level of commitment to customer service, be detailed oriented, flexible and a true team player.
- Advanced computer literacy with word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs, , Outlook, Excel, is required. Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and PeopleSoft or HRIS system experience is an asset.

Salary Range : $57,347 - $75,268 / year. The starting salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate’s relevant education and experience, and would be in alignment with the provincial compensation reference plan.
Salary will be prorated accordingly for part time roles.
Location : 1333 West Broadway Vancouver, BC (This position supports remote work; however, the successful candidate will be required on-site 1 (one) day per week)
