I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a company specializing in the manufacturing industry, located on Montreal, for an Industrial Engineer - Day Shift, 40 hours / week.
Your Role
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for the following tasks :
- Analyze and improve the reliability of equipment and production processes.
- Implement continuous improvement projects to optimize productivity and quality.
- Diagnose recurring breakdowns and propose solutions to eliminate root causes.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to develop preventive maintenance plans.
- Train and raise awareness among teams on best practices in reliability and continuous improvement.
- Monitor performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the actions taken.
- Stay updated on technological advancements to integrate new maintenance and continuous improvement technologies.
- Other related tasks.
Your Professional Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Teamwork orientation
- In-depth knowledge of reliability and continuous improvement methods (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma)
- Proficiency in computer-assisted maintenance management systems (CMMS)

Your Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's in mechanical or industrial engineering, or any relevant field
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, a significant asset
- Knowledge of English, an asset

Salary
$80K to $110K depending on experience
