In your role, you will
- Support stress in-service repair activities.
- Perform various stress analyses on repairs : Static strength Fatigue / Durability, damage Tolerance, and Finite element Model (FEM) on multi-platform aircraft programs (Challenger and Global).
- Prepare stress reports, static strength as well as damage tolerance analysis for compliance purposes.
- Carry out stress calculations to assess design solutions and repair trade studies.
- Review repair engineering drawings and participate actively in the development of in-Service solutions.
- Provide clear visibility to management of the status and / or emerging issues to the supported repair activities.
As our ideal candidate
- You hold a Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree in mechanical / aerospace engineering;
- You have a minimum of eight years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry;
- You have experience in Aircraft Structural substantiation analysis : Static, Fatigue / Durability, and an excellent knowledge and experience of structural Damage Tolerance Analysis;
- You have experience using Patran / Nastran, Nasgro, CATIA V5;
- You have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office;
- You are a confident, knowledgeable and energetic person with excellent communication and listening skills that is able to work in a team environment;
- You must also be a person with initiative, strong sense of responsibility and good engineering judgment.
