Reservation Agent-RRCR

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented professional to join River Rock Casino Resort as part of the Reservation team. The Reservation Agent will be responsible for the promotion, sales and booking of hotel accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Responds to all communications directed to the Reservations Office
• Quotes rates and reserves guest rooms
• Provides travel information, local tourism information and attractions
• Provides information on the resort : upcoming shows, special events and promotions
• Makes every effort to promote hotel packages including all areas of the resort
• Makes every effort to cross sell and promote all Great Canadian Gaming Corporation properties
• Up-sells to increase revenues
• Explains all policies of the Resort.
• Sends out confirmation notices; accepts payment and gives refunds
• Handles group inquiries or forwards to Sales
• Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
• Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders : guests, ownership and employees
• Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned or directed
