Position Overview
Are you ready to lead impactful engagement initiatives and shape the way a City connects with its diverse communities? As a Permanent, Full‑Time Engagement Specialist, you will take charge of developing and implementing engagement strategies with internal teams, external interest groups, Indigenous partners, and the general public.
This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about building relationships and engaging with diverse communities. If you have strong interpersonal skills, enjoy strategic thinking, and are experienced in planning, writing, and facilitating engagement initiatives, this role is a perfect fit.

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications :
For new hires, and for those working in designated positions of trust, including those working directly with vulnerable persons, no formal offer of employment will be made until an applicant completes a police information check. Hours & Days of Work
Monday - Friday : 8 : 00 am - 4 : 00 pm (Summer) 8 : 30 am - 4 : 30 pm (Winter) Non‑normal shifts may be required for event coordination or public engagement initiatives.
