Richmond Christian School is hiring a fixed-term Educational Assistant , starting February 9, 2026 .

About you

The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong commitment towards both Christian and Inclusive Education. The ideal candidate also demonstrates a foundational knowledge in working within the Positive Behaviour Support framework, experience in supporting Autistic students and has the ability to anticipate the needs of a diverse group of learners.

As this is a fixed-term position, we also welcome applications from EAs currently working as EAOCs or those interested in serving as a EAOC at RCS in addition to the fixed-term contract.

About the Position

We are seeking a dynamic, collaborative EA who is passionate about Christian education and committed to integrating a Christian worldview into their practice.

The Educational Assistant (EA) will work to support students, under the direction of the classroom teacher, both class wide as well as in small groups or one-to-one. The EA should have strong collaboration and communication skills in order to work best with classroom teachers and should show flexibility to best meet the needs of students ranging from Kindergarten to Grade Five. This role is an on-site position located at our Elementary Campus located at 5240 Woodwards Road, Richmond.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

• Current certification from an accredited Educational Assistant Program or related certification such as Behaviour Interventionist.
• Evidence of course work or experience with exceptional and unique learners.
