Job Description
Micro-Informa is currently looking for an experienced technical sales associate. We are a B2B IT company that provides sales, service, and support.
The technical sales associate must have a familiarity with physical security systems involving security cameras. It will be an asset to have a grasp on access control and alarms system deployment.
To ensure success as a technical sales associate, a willingness to take technical certification, if necessary, is a must! You should be able to identify and resolve issues pertaining to physical security.
Moreover, an excellent technical sales associate must be able to travel to our client’s location for a site walk and create a floor plan to meet their needs.
Having previous experience supporting clients and technicians with remote support both for user experience on a cloud platform and assisting an integration, is an asset in this role.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Identify, investigate, and resolve client’s hardware and software problems pertaining to security.
- Travel to client’s location for a site walk (mainly greater Montréal area)
- Maintain a good understanding of physical security cameras / access controls / alarms to answer client questions and assist onsite technicians with integrations
- Run best practice calls to familiarize the clients with their cloud platform.
- Floor Plan creation & Build of Materials
- Attending product training courses and seminars
- Ability to break down technical terminology to nontechnical clients

Qualifications Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology preferred
- Fluent in French and English
- Strong knowledge in security camera systems or relevant experience
- Ability to travel and drive to client locations (vehicle owner)
- Able to add camera / access / alarm system mapping to floor plans
- Ability to problem solve
Salary Renumeration
The salary structure is based on fixed salary plus commission. Starting package from 65K to be determined based on experience and knowledge.
